The World Book day - and how can you start a collection!
On the Book World Day we shipped 91kg of French and English books to Madagascar! It was an amazingly successful collection organized mainly by Magdalena Machalová from the Czech Republic. As a teacher she linked our project to her classes, introduced the problems of Madagascar to children and raised awareness about the literacy rate there. Read her story and get inspired! After all everyone can start her/his collection and send the books to chosen location!Read more.
Photo exhibition - Czech Republic, Ostrava
Some of our photos from Madagascar can now be seen and bought in the Czech Republic on Ostrava (Dolni Vitkovice) exhibition! You can choose whichever photo you like and decide how much you want to pay for it. You don't need to visit the exhibition, but you are more than welcome to! We visited it today and here are some photos to show you. If you are interested in buying in any of those (or others - there are more!) photos contact us! :)Read more.
Colours, paints and brushes!
We could not stare at the blank walls for too long. We had 8kgs of different oil paints, lovely colours! We also had many paint brushes, unpatient children behind the window and bookshelves to be fit in. Look at all the lovely pictures, world map and other things we have painted on the walls!Read more.
Getting the Furniture - not at all that easy!
We were assured by locals that it should not take more than few days to make few bookshelves, chairs and tables... Upsss Malagasy 'Mora-Mora' (slowly-slowly) delayed the furniture by more than few days. Luckily we got it before we left the country and we even had enough time to give kids brushes and paint and... see for yourself!Read more.
