Let's Make It Nice And Pretty!

Last step was to transform the library from outside and make it nice and inviting. Thanks to 4 masons and their 8 helpers the library undergone entire reconstruction from outside in just two days!

Seeing the masons building their own scaffold and ladders was an experience. With no offense intended I must say they can move and climb up and down the trees and wooden poles like monkeys! However I must admit that often times I had to hold my breath seeing how their home-made ladders are not properly secured and are jumping from place to place while carrying two people. As usual I was the only one worried.

After two days the building had new coat, after another two days the masons came back and painted the library with nice bright white paint and Peter was so kind as to climb that ladder one more time and write PUBLIC LIBRARY on the wall.

And that was it, the library was officially finished and ready to open its doors to its first readers!

Although we still don't have many books the very few we do have (it is about 400 books at the moment) are still a great addition to the whole community.
