Libraries That Build Futures

At Bookfeeding Project, we believe that access to knowledge and education should never be a privilege but a right. We work hand in hand with communities to create vibrant, locally-driven libraries that serve as learning hubs, safe spaces, and platforms for opportunity.

But we don’t stop at books. Education goes beyond the classroom, so we listen to what each community needs and support skills-sharing workshops that empower people in practical ways—whether it’s learning how to make reusable sanitary pads or growing mushrooms.

We act as the bridge between ideas and action, helping communities bring their own visions to life. Whether by providing funds, sharing knowledge from similar projects, or offering logistical support, we fill the gaps to ensure that plans created by the community become a reality. However, we never take over—we follow the community’s lead because it is they who will continue to manage and grow their library long after it opens.

We don’t choose where we go—communities invite us in. We collaborate with local people, use local materials, and respect local traditions to ensure that everything we build is sustainable, accessible, and truly owned by the community.

Our goal is simple: to create spaces that inspire learning, strengthen communities, and open doors to new opportunities.

What Is Bookfeeding Project?

OUR VALUES

Community-Led Development – We follow the community’s vision, acting as a bridge to provide support, resources, and knowledge.

Sustainability & Local Impact – We prioritize local materials, skills, and leadership to create long-term change.

Volunteerism & Shared Learning – We believe in mutual exchange, where volunteers contribute skills while learning from the communities they support.
